JumpStik Connect
A browser extension for Chrome and Edge. Pick which sites open through which JumpStik — your own browser still shows the page, with your extensions, bookmarks and logins; the JumpStik carries the traffic from its site. Use it for miner dashboards, a router, or an app server like Umbrel, including the apps it opens on other ports.
Download JumpStik Connect 1.0.0
Needs JumpStik OS 1.9.8 or later on the board for the automatic setup (older boards work too: type the proxy port and login yourself).
Install it
- Unzip the download. Keep the folder somewhere permanent, such as Documents — the browser loads it from there.
- Open
chrome://extensions(Chrome) oredge://extensions(Edge) and turn on Developer mode. - Click Load unpacked and choose the jumpstik-connect folder.
- Pin it: click the puzzle-piece icon in the toolbar, then the pin next to JumpStik Connect.
Set it up
- The settings page opens by itself. Enter the JumpStik's address — its name (like
esp-malvern), its LAN address, or its Tailscale address to reach it from anywhere — and click Check. - Enter the board's user name and password and click Save JumpStik. Its whole local network is added as a site, so every device there opens through it.
- On any site, click the JumpStik icon and choose Through … to send that site through a board, or switch to Everything to send all browsing through one.
The board's proxy must be on (it is by default): dashboard → Settings → Proxy. If a board is offline, the sites set to use it won't load until it's back; nothing goes out another way.
